For over fifty years, the Mexican American School Boards Association (MASBA) has been supporting and empowering local school district leaders. MASBA believes that by enriching school board leaders, not only do we strengthen our school boards, but elevate how we support our students, teachers, and communities.

Now more than ever, the work of MASBA is critical for our schools and the State of Texas. Over the last decade, Texas added 2 million individuals identifying as Latina/o. Understanding the current realities of young people and their families, as well as best practices for academic success and holistic development is of the highest importance. MASBA is committed to continuing to meet these needs by offering culturally relevant environments, curricula, and programming for our members.
