Spotlighting TRANE: Empowering Latino Communities through Workforce Development
MASBA is Proud to Uplift TRANE’s Virtual Learning Lab Program
The Latino community is one of the fastest-growing demographics in the United States, with significant implications for the future workforce. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the Latino population is projected to nearly double by 2060, reaching 111 million. The median age of Latinos is just 30, compared to 38 for the overall U.S. population, highlighting the youthfulness and potential of this community to drive economic growth and innovation in the coming decades.
Given these demographic trends, it is crucial to invest in workforce development programs that offer economic benefits and secure futures for Latino students. TRANE Technologies has partnered with schools to provide educational opportunities that align with this growing need, ensuring our students are ready to meet the demands of tomorrow’s workforce.
TRANE is dedicated to fostering educational opportunities within the K-12 system, preparing students for gainful employment. By integrating technology and hands-on learning, TRANE’s programs equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in high-demand sectors such as HVAC and energy. These fields offer significant economic opportunities, contributing to the financial stability and growth of Latino families and communities.
Educational Programs: Shaping Future Careers
Through these initiatives, TRANE not only supports students’ career aspirations but also contributes to building a skilled and diverse workforce. This, in turn, promotes economic advancement and stability for the Latino community, ensuring a brighter future for all. Learn more through viewing the videos above.
